Halloween 2009

Last year's costume - the whole family dressed 50's style. One day I will own a poodle skirt of my very own and wear it out shopping at Target. The saddle shoes were already mine and yes, I wear them quite often.

Hubby got the best outfit of all... what the picture doesn't show is his feet on which is he wearing the bowling shoes he got that morning from the bowling alley - they sold them to him for $5 and included a new bowling bag.  Now if only he bowled.

This costume took me forever to make but was fun to wear. I'm Facebook and Hubby is my flair board. Yeah, some people didn't quite get it.

It took me a while to find someone with a poncho but this is one of my favorite costumes of all time... can you guess??? I'm Ugly Betty!

Halloween 2006

Yep, that's my real wedding dress and yes, I did trick or treat up and down the dirty streets and yes, the dress now needs a good cleaning. I was just excited that it still fit three years later, esp after having a baby (see her in the background?).

I was also the Cakewalk Sheriff at the church Halloween festival this year.   Not sure what I did with that hat....  

Halloween 2005

This is our sweet Strawberry Shortcake - she's 5 now with lots of Halloween costumes under her belt but this one was her very first.

I used my fail safe cat costume idea and Big Sister was Stitch.
